The officers asked plaintiffs, who were both African American, what they were doing in the neighborhood so late. When they replied, defendant officers told plaintiffs to leave the neighborhood and not come back. On November 20th, 2011, defendant officers again stopped Plaintiffs and told them \"I told you not to come around here anymore.\" Plaintiffs said they had committed no crime. Despite this, they were thrown against the police van with another individual and arrested with excessive force. Their heads were banged against the van and their arms were pulled behind their back to tightly handcuff them, which restricted their blood flow.
