When asked why, Tantillo responded with a series of different 'causes' for the stop, each of which plaintiff responded to. Eventually, defendant Tantillo threatened the plaintiff with force if she did not leave her vehicle. When she attempted to call 911 for help, the defendants seized her phone, opened the car, and forcibly removed her by grabbing her wrists. They then tightly handcuffed plaintiff and transported her to a nearby precinct. Plaintiff was detained in the precinct for an unstated period of time, until she was released and issued two summonses.
