The injury caused by the police required medical attention; as a result the assault, plaintiff suffiered injuries to his head, resulting in loss of consciousness; a re-aggravation to a pre-existing back injury, prompting a visit to the Spinal Surgeon and lacerations to his wrists from the handcuffs, resulting in permanent nerve damage to his hand.
