The plaintiffs were then transported to the precinct, where they were detained for a lengthy period before transported to Central Booking. The officers falsely charged the plaintiffs with 'Fraudulent accosting,' 'Possession of a gambling device,' 'Promoting gambling in the second degree,' and 'Loitering'. Officers knew that the plaintiffs did not commit any crime or offense, yet did nothing to intervene.
