Plaintiff ignored the officers who attempted to talk to him, because he did not know they were officers. Without warning, the officers attempted to grab Plaintiff from behind, who did not know who was trying to grab him and was scared. Plaintiff ran across the street, turned around, and realized they were officers. Plaintiff put his hands up, but the officers tased Plaintiff, who fell onto the concrete, hit his head, shoulder and back, and lost consciousness. Plaintiff woke up and immediately began screaming from the pain in his shoulder -- the officers kneed him in the belly and one officer intentionally stepped on his ankle. The officers took Plaintiff to the hospital and then booking, and provided the DA with false information that Plaintiff committed a crime. Plaintiff's case was dismissed.
