Plaintiff was forced to the ground at gun point by Defendant Officers, Plaintiff was then subject to a search without probable cause or reasonable suspicion to believe he was Mutar Mohammed or that he had committed a violation of the law. Defendants rear handcuffed Plaintiff extremely tightly, causing substantial pain and injury to his wrists and hands and transported Plaintiff to a local NYPD precinct where Plaintiff was subject to a strip search with cavity inspection. \n\nPlaintiff was held in a cell at the precinct for approximately four days before he was informed by Defendants that he had been indicted by a grand jury on several different charges. Defendants had intentionally provided false information to the Bronx County District Attorney and offered false, fraudulent and misleading testimony to the grandy jury convened to investigate the charges against Plaintiff to ensure that he was indicted. Plaintiff was arraigned and formally charged with three (3) counts of Criminal Conspiracy in the First Degree, three (3) counts of Criminal Conspiracy in the Second Degree, one (1) count of Criminal Conspiracy in the Third Degree and one (1) count of Criminal Conspiracy in the Fourth Degree. Plaintiff was unable to meet his bail conditions and was remanded to custody at Riker's Island, where he remained for 11 months until he was released on bail in March 2015. During his incarceration on Riker's Island, Plaintiff was forcibly subject to multiple strip searches with cavity inspections. Over the next four years, Plaintiff was forced to return to court to face the false charges against him several times before all charges were eventually dismissed on October 2, 2018.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=N69KbqynMZs4GV2K2IAM4A==","type":"complaint"}]}],"id":"NZ5B","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/NZ5B"}
