Plaintiff then called the police department for assistance, and Sergeant Tyrone Mederos and other unknown officers arrived. The three unknown males informed Sgt. Mederos and the other officers that they were authorized agents of Federal National Mortgage Association, a financial institution engaged in foreclosures. Sgt. Mederos and other officers did not arrest the three men despite the absence of a Marshal's notice or warrant of eviction.
