Defendants performed a traffic stop of Plaintiff's car when it was stopped in a parked position. Defendants failed to investigate the minimal amount needed to ascertain the necessary facts before the execution of an arrest of Plaintiff. Defendants physically forced Plaintiff out of her motor vehicle, handcuffed Plaintiff and forced her into a police car without reasonable suspicion to stop Plaintiff's motor vehicle. Plaintiff was then taken to the 26th Precinct and was denied to make a phone call. At the precinct Plaintiff was interrogated and questioned by Defendant Detectives John Brogan and John Sganga. While at the precinct, Plaintiff sustained property damage and loss in the sum of $3,500. Plaintiff spent approximately 7 hours at the precinct and was then taken to Central Booking where the Plaintiff was held for 12 hours. Plaintiff was then arraigned and released. Plaintiff attended court appearances until May 30, 2017 when all charges were dismissed and the case was sealed.
