Plaintiff was wearing a hat and a badge clearly identifying him as NLG-NYC LO.  Defendants from New York City Police Department (“NYPD”), including Defendant O’Hare, seized and arrested Plaintiff without lawful justification, in retaliation for Plaintiff's conduct in observing and documenting police response to protests in a public space.  Defendants put metal handcuffs on Plaintiff in an excessively tight manner.  Defendants then searched Plaintiff and took some of his property, including his NLG-NYC LO hat and notes.
