Defendant Rene Clazada placed the plaintiff Rhodes in an illegal chokehold.  As the defendant Calzada was choking the plaintiff , the defendant Eddie Cabrera punched the plaintiff Rhodes in his eye and mouth , causing him to lose consciousness. The plaintiff was then placed under arrest , when the plaintiff Shayna Pantojas protested at the brutal treatment Rhodes was subjected to , she was arrested as well. Both plaintiffs were taken to the 42nd precinct .
