Defendants unlawfully searched plaintiff, without a lawful basis to do so, then assaulted, battered and used excessive force on plaintiff, threw to the ground, punched and otherwise beat him, causing injuries to his face, mouth and teeth requiring treatment at a local hospital. Defendants placed plaintiff into handcuffs and under arrest. Plaintiff was taken to a local hospital, then to the police precinct. At the precinct defendants falsely informed the Manhattan DA they observed plaintiff commit various offenses. Plaintiff requested medical attention on multiple occasions but his requests were denied by Defendants. Plaintiff was transported to Central Booking, and was subsequently arraigned. Plaintiff was released from custody and received medical treatment for the injuries sustained as a result of defendants’ excessive force, assault, and battery.
