The officer (Officer Liberator) pulled him over and asked for his license/registration. Plaintiff asked why he had been pulled over, and the officer responded, \"When you give me your license, I'll tell you.\" Officer Liberator said he pulled plaintiff over because he had run a stop sign. Plaintiff listed his legal rights, which made Officer Liberator so upset that he pulled plaintiff out of the car and pushed him against the car. Plaintiff complied. Plaintiff continued to speak, saying the officer was being rude. The other officer stood there, and plaintiff could see from his face that he did not agree with Officer Liberator's behavior, but he did nothing. Plaintiff's back hurt as a result of being pushed against the car. Plaintiff also asked the other officer to loosen his handcuffs because they were too tight, and the officer loosened them. When plaintiff continued to ask the officer if he knew his actions were illegal, the officer said he would take plaintiff to a cell.\n\nPlaintiff was taken to a cell and held there. The officer said to him, after he waited for about 45 minutes, \"If I wanted to make you stay longer, I would have made up more charges.\"","documents":[{"url":"https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/23690733-show_temp","type":"complaint"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/13346737/francis-v-liberator/"},{"officer_name":"Liberatore, Archangelo","disposition":"Settlement","start_date":"2015-02-24","disposition_date":"2015-03-17","court":"Civil Court - Bronx","docket":"001996/2015","name":"Allstate Fire & Casualty Insurance Company Aso Clark, Thomas vs Police Department, Nyc, et al.","payout_amount":3508.07}],"id":"PCVV","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/PCVV"}
