Once Plaintiff was in custody, the officers transported him to the hospital. Once at the hospital, despite Plaintiff cooperating, health officers used unnecessary and excessive physical force to restrain Plaintiff, causing him serious and severe injuries.\n\nOn or about October 5, 2021, Plaintiff was present at his then residence when PO and FD officers again arrived, in response to a 911 call from NYCHA. Plaintiff was then inside his apartment. The officers (their identities were unknown at the time the complaint was filed) entered Plaintiff’s apartment without his permission nor consent. Plaintiff was placed in fear for his life and informed the officers that what they were doing was not according to protocol. The officers informed Plaintiff that they were not going to leave his apartment unless he came with them. Fearing for his life and not wanting the situation to escalate further, Plaintiff left his apartment with the officers.
