Despite Plaintiff’s complaints, the Police Officers did not loosen the handcuffs or provide an explanation for his arrest. Then Plaintiff was taken against his will first to various Precinct and then to the Central Booking. During this time he was illegally fingerprinted, photographed, searched or strip-searched, questioned  about his background,  illegally interrogated without presence of counsel or being read his Miranda rights. He remained illegally detained until January 18, 2021 when he was release from physical custody. Police Officers fabricated false evidence and information and on this basis they initiated a malicious prosecution against Plaintiff. They forwarded a criminal complaint to the District Attorney’s Office, in which they falsely affirmed that Plaintiff had violated a protective order.
