Plaintiff was then taken to Central Booking and detained there for one day as well as criminally arraigned and charged with Burglary in the Second Degree.  Defendants attested to the criminal complaint despite knowing of the fabricated information.  Plaintiff was then remanded to the Manhattan Detention Complex and detained there over seven days.  Thereafter, he was removed to Vernon Bain Correctional Center, where he was remained imprisoned until December 3, 2020 for ca. 44 days. The first arrest occurred on September 17, 2019, when the plaintiff was wrongfully arrested and prosecuted for burglary by NYPD officers, including Officer Gomez, who allegedly fabricated evidence and made false accusations.\n\nOn February 21, 2020, the plaintiff was again arrested by NYPD officers, including Officer Pappalardi, for criminal trespassing. Similar to the previous arrest, the prosecution was allegedly based on false evidence and statements fabricated by Officer Pappalardi.
