Thereafter, NYC Police Officers Kenneth Connolly  and Isaiah Deodat(\"Defendants\") pulled the Plaintiff over and gave him a traffic ticket. As Plaintiff began to drive away a mere foot, Plaintiff noticed that the Defendant Deodat pretended that Plaintiff's vehicle struck his vehicle, which Plaintiff never did. Plaintiff parked and exited his vehicle after the realization and at that moment, without just cause or provocation, Connolly grabbed Plaintiff and handcuffed him. Plaintiff was take to a police precinct where he was searched and forced to remain inside a holding cell until he was taken to Bronx County Central Booking. \nOn February 2, 2023, a criminal action against Plaintiff commenced and he was charged with Assault in the Second Degree and related charged.
