Mohammed alerted Officer Jessnik that he recently had surgery, and pleaded that he not be handcuffed from behind because of the stitches. Officer Jessnik responded, \"I don't care.\" Saadala Aboulessan was physically thrown into the backseat of the police car. Saadala was not seatbelted in, and injured his shin after the police car sped into a car. Officers refused to provide immediate medical attention to Saadala's shin. Saadala spent 4-8 hours at the precinct and received no medical care. When Mohammed arrived at Central Booking, officers still refused to provide medical attention to his wrists until after a shift change. \n\nOn September 11, 2017, police again arrived at the Aboulessan residence. Officers took Saadala's phone from him, dropped it on the floor, and slammed Saadala against the hood of a car and arrested him. Saadala's sister, Amtissal, began recording and questioning the officers, and was forcibly arrested.
