Plaintiff alleges Officers Gavino and Shields coordinated with an unmarked police vehicle to delay Plaintiff from driving, to ultimately use as pretext to arrest plaintiff. When asked for his ID, plaintiff presented his Tribal Driver's License, when Officer Gavino said \"give me your real driver's license.\" Sergeant Joseph Bello was called in to review the ID - and ordered plaintiff to be handcuffed and arrested and said to Officer Gavino, laughing, \"N----- claims he is an Indian chief.\" Plaintiff further alleges that after making a call for his lawyer at the Precinct, NYPD told him his attorney had arrived, only to discover that Defendant Roadarmel - a member of the NYPD - was in the room instead of his attorney. Defendant Roadarmel then began interrogating plaintiff about an alleged shooting in 2009.\n\nPlaintiff additionally alleges that on August 12, 2018 Defendants harassed, intimidated and violated plaintiff's rights by having New York City Administration for Children Services evict two of his children and Ms. Douglas from a shelter. On April 2, 2021, Plaintiff alleges members of plaintiff's community and neighbors were accosted by NYPD and interrogated about plaintiff's relations with the community members, and were told to not associate with Plaintiff.
