Defendants falsely accused plaintiff of a criminal offense involving a financial crime.  Defendants seized her person with their outstretched hands aggressively grabbing her about her head and body before unlawfully searching her person by rifling their hands in and out of plaintiff’s clothing and personal belongings.  Defendants then grabbed plaintiff about her body and extremities before violently contorting her arms and wrists behind her back and applying excessively tightened metal handcuffs, causing plaintiff to experience significant pain and discomfort.  Plaintiff was thereafter transported by defendants to a precinct, where plaintiff was fingerprinted, photographed, searched or strip-searched, questioned as to her pedigree and interrogated.  She was detained until she was released from custody on or about November 24, 2020 after her arraignment.  Defendants signed and forwarded the criminal court complaint to the DA’s Office, in which they knowingly affirmed the truth of fabricated allegations against plaintiff, namely that plaintiff committed the criminal offense of possession and sale of narcotics.
