As plaintiff talked to her friends, plaintiff's child wandered away from the playground and, unbeknown to plaintiff, returned to their home. When plaintiff realized that her child was missing, she started searching for the child and ultimately called 911 to report her child missing. After no POs responded to her call, plaintiff walked to the nearby precinct where she was told that her child had already been found and was in custody.\nDefendant POs then, without probable cause, arrested her and provided the District Attorney with knowingly false, misleading and incomplete information regarding the reason for her arrest. Nevertheless, the District Attorney refused to prosecute plaintiff and plaintiff was released. \nHowever, defendant POs provided the same knowingly false, misleading and incomplete information to the Administration for Children's Services (ACS) and recommended that the ACS remove plaintiff's children from her custody. As a result, plaintiff's children were removed from plaintiff for an extended period of time and subjected to abusive and harmful care.
