Defendant Martinez punched the plaintiff two or three times in the face, a second officer punched the Plaintiff two or three times in the body, a third defendant attempted to place the Plaintiff in a headlock. The remaining officer witnessed the above beating but failed to intervene. At the precinct, the Defendant officer filed false information with the District Attorney's Office causing False Criminal Charges against the Plaintiff to be filed. After 24 hours in custody the Plaintiff was released on his own recognizance.
