The police officers then subjected him to chokehold and multiple beating and kicking without justification despite Ross posing no threat. As a consequence, Ross suffered difficulty in breathing especially being placed in a car without any ventilation. Ross was also subject to tight handcuffs, resulting in wrist pain. Ross was then subject to emergency medical care for multiple injuries on his body as a result of the incident. The officers then maliciously charged Ross of a crime that they knew he did not commit. This charge was subsequently dropped. Meanwhile, Ross was detained for approximately 24 hours, and Ross was denied of his liberty and property in the meantime.
