Defendants, including Rossi Mata, a detective employed by the NYPD, and NYPD employees John or Jane Doe 1-10 illegally entered and searched the above-mentioned location. Defendants did not have arrest warrants for Plaintiff, and intentionally provided false or fabricated information that would likely influence prosecutors employed by the District Attorney's Office to wrongfully prosecute the Plaintiff, namely that Plaintiff was observed to be arrested and searched, so that a criminal prosecution would be initiated against Plaintiff. Plaintiff was ultimately falsely arrested and charged with possession of stolen property, committing robbery, assault and larceny that Defendants knew to be false because Plaintiff was not in criminal possession of stolen property. Defendants failed to find anything illegal on his person or his reach, yet assaulted and battered Plaintiff, and placed Plaintiff in tight handcuffs. Plaintiff was then placed in a NYPD vehicle to be transported to NYPD 40th precinct where he was detained, illegally searched, including a strip-search with cavity inspection, questioned, photographed and fingerprinted by or at the direction of Defendants. After his arraignment, Plaintiff was transferred to New York City Police Department, where he was unlawfully detained until his eventual release.
