Her neighbors were renovating their home, and were conducting loud construction work from 8 AM until 7 PM. Plaintiff went outside and asked them to stop, when the neighbors threatened her and said they would call police on her. Plaintiff then returned to her home. Defendant NYPD officers John Falzarano, Christopher Ng, and Ryan Stam all arrived at the scene shortly thereafter. When plaintiff stepped out to meet them, defendants arrested her on charges of trespass, harassment, and disorderly conduct, based solely on the unsubstantiated claims of her neighbors.  \n\nPlaintiff was transported to the 122nd Precinct, where she was under the supervision of Defendant NYPD Officer Louis Campanella and Gregory Acerra. Plaintiff was handcuffed to a wall in a cell shared with a belligerent man, and she was denied repeated requests for food and water. Plaintiff was then cavity searched, contrary to NYPD protocol, by defendant NYPD Officer Kristen Caldararo, while defendants Ng and Stam stood guard. Plaintiff was then transferred to a different precinct, where she was again strip searched in full view of male officers. Plaintiff was then arraigned and released. Plaintiff was offered and declined several plea deals, before the charges against her were dismissed on the DA's motion.","documents":[{"url":"https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nyed.517751/gov.uscourts.nyed.517751.33.0.pdf","type":"complaint"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/68936970/21/intorcia-v-city-of-new-york/"},{"name":"Pollard, Anthony vs City of New York, et al.","start_date":"2013-05-06","payout_amount":0,"disposition":"","docket":"154098/2013","court":"Supreme Court - New York","officer_name":"Campanella, Louis J.","summary":"On November 11, 2012, Plaintiff was lawfully present on the sidewalk outside the B.B. King Blues Club & Grill, at 237 W. 42nd St., NY, NY. Defendants including Campanella were present at that location, having recently broken up a large altercation, of which plaintiff was not involved. Defendants had a vicious and dangerous German Shepherd K9, trained to intimidate the general public and attack on command. As Plaintiff was attempting to depart the location, he was accosted by defendants. Plaintiff raised his hands above his head and slowly backed away. Defendants rushed at Plaintiff, tackled and forced him to the side- walk, where they punched, kicked, beat and struck him with some number of unknown hard objects. Defendants released the Police K-9, allowing it to attack and bite Plaintiff when he was restrained on the ground, not able to defend himself. Plaintiff suffered serious physical injuries requiring hospitalization and surgery. Plaintiff was arrested. Defendants caused a criminal complaint to be filed against Plaintiff in New York Criminal Court. On April 23, 2013, the criminal complaint was voluntarily dismissed by the New York DA.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=sGFYd3pAuvsVd0O64ZEO1g==","type":"complaint"}]}],"image":"https://www.50-a.org/images/officer/QJKT-louis-campanella.jpg","payroll":{"salary":"105606","regular":"105305","overtime":"54546","other":"18874","total":"178724"},"id":"QJKT","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/QJKT"}
