Defendants unlawfully stopped Plaintiff while she was exercising her right to speech and expression.  Plaintiff, a black female, was illegally profiled because of her race. Defendants arrested Plaintiff and handcuffed her in an excessively tight fashion cause her hands and wrists to be swollen and bruised.  Defendants ignored Plaintiff's requests to loosen to the handcuffs. Defendant was taken to a hospital and handcuffed to a gurney.  While Plaintiff was shackled to the gurney she was left with a male officer who ordered that the hospital curtain be kept open while Plaintiff was changed into a hospital gown and ordered the nurse not to put clothing on Plaintiff.  Defendants brought charges without cause. Plaintiff was brought to an NYPD precinct and then to Central Booking where she remained until her arraignment.
