Plaintiff was seized, searched and handcuffed. Plaintiff had committed no crime and was not engaging in suspicious or illegal activity. Plaintiff was placed under arrest and transported to the 79th Precinct where he was photographed, fingerprinted and subjected to a degrading and invasive strip search. Plaintiff was then detained in a holding cell for a time until being transported to Central Booking where he was detained in a cell again. PO Conejo and SGT Leonardi conspired to provide false information to the DA's office, thereby instigating the commencement of the criminal prosecution of Plaintiff. At arraignment bail was set but Plaintiff was unable to post it. He was therefore detained at Riker's Island where he remained until December 8th, 2014. The officers knocked Plaintiff 1’s phone out of his hand and forced him to the ground. Plaintiff 1 did not attempt to resist arrest. Yet, officers punched Plaintiff 1 multiple times.
