Officers, including Robley, Palmenta, Reichenbach, Dotres, Mongello, and Martin arrived at the scene, and spoke with Diomande, then arrested plaintiff. Officers assaulted plaintiff, dragging her across the floor, causing injuries to her leg. Police officers went into plaintiff's office, took the $7,000 cash and never returned it. Plaintiff was handcuffed, transported to the 75th precinct, held for eight hours, then transported to Central Booking, where she was held for eight hours then arraigned on numerous charges and released on her own recognizance. On September 21, 2012, plaintiff was working in her office located on the first floor at 177 Sheffield Avenue, when officers arrived and arrested her again. Officers took $500 cash and did not return it. Plaintiff was transported to the 75th precinct, then Central Booking, and detained 12 hours before arraignment, where she was charged with violating an order of protection, criminal contempt, and harassment, and released on her own recognizance. Plaintiff appeared in court 5 times on Burglary and related charges, and appeared in court 5 times on charges of violating the order of protection. All charges have been dismissed. Again, the arrest lacked any legal justification and once again, Plaintiff was subject to lengthy, coercive, and traumatizing interrogation and malicious prosecution of crimes he had not committed. Because of the second arrest, Plaintiff was incarcerated between June 16, 2011, and November 3, 2011. \n\nThe case related to the first arrest on November 3, 2010, was dismissed on November 3, 2011, on the People’s own motion; the prosecutors admitted that the location allegedly subject to burglary by Plaintiff was in fact never burglarized.
