The officers attempted to forcefully gain entry into his apartment building, and subsequently his apartment by kicking his door. There officers did not observe Plaintiff commit any offence that warranted the police attempting to break down Plaintiff's door without a warrant. As a result, there was some damage dealt to Plaintiff's home, including his door and side windows. The Defendants officers suffered some self-inflicted injuries from the attempted entry, but charged Plaintiff with a felony assault on a police officers.
