Defendants arrested and imprisoned plaintiff by detaining, handcuffing and arresting him at 211 Union Ave, Brooklyn, New York, and charged him with murder in the second degree for the death of Anthony Santana based upon video surveillance footage and without more evidence. The defendant assaulted and battered the plaintiff by intentionally touching, pushing plaintiff and handcuffed and illegally searched him. Defendant used excessive force in detaining and arresting plaintiff. The defendant did not have probable cause to detain, arrest and imprison the plaintiff since there was no evidence that showed plaintiff committed the crime that he was charged with. Court action against plaintiff ended in favor of the plaintiff by the Court dismissing all charges against plaintiff. Due to the arrest and imprisonment, plaintiff suffered injuries including loss of freedom and liberty, psychological, mental and emotional trauma, shame embarrassment and suffering as well as personal and public humiliation, which may require medical attention. The defendant police officers arrested him and attempted to initiate a criminal prosecution to gain overtime pay, benefits as well as to meet departmental arrest quotas.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=wmPL7wy1iTQH35isK65HKw==","type":"complaint"}]}],"discipline":[{"disposition_date":"2019-03-20","case_no":"2018-19877","penalty":"Vacation days (40 days)","charges":[{"desc":"Failed to make proper notifications.","disposition":"Guilty"},{"desc":"Failed to make required entries in Department logs.","disposition":"Guilty"},{"desc":"Failed to prepare a property clerk's invoice worksheet, as required.","disposition":"Guilty"},{"desc":"Failed to properly document inventory actions.","disposition":"Guilty"}]}],"documents":[{"url":"https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/21024734-juart-c1ad2b688023caed38de293511ceb4bd15936bcd","type":"brady-giglio"},{"url":"https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/21058411-juart-928567-12-13-19-1","type":"brady-giglio"}],"payroll":{"salary":"119980","regular":"115753","overtime":"70280","other":"25281","total":"211313"},"id":"RDW7","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/RDW7"}
