Officers later returned $34,378 of plaintiff Javier Jaime's appropriated funds, but not the remainder of the funds. The search, during which officers refused to present a warrant, resulted in the damage or destruction of numerous items, including plaintiffs' Playstation Portable console, X-box console, computer, and television.
