The Plaintiff mother is disabled. The NYPD's prior investigation revealed that an alleged weapon belonged to a man residing at Plaintiffs' home. Officer Anthony Aquilino, Officer Dominic Algoni, Sgt. Dennis Maxim, Sgt. Maldonado and other unidentified officers searched Plaintiffs' home and allegedly found a weapon in a male's bedroom. The officers claim that Plaintiff consented to the search, but Plaintiff was incapacitated at the time and was not able to consent. \n\nWhile at the precinct, Plaintiff informed officers that she needed medical attention, but the officers ignored her, resulting in the Plaintiff passing out. After approximately 48 hours in custody, Plaintiffs were arraigned and released. Plaintiffs appeared in court approximately 10 times, and a grand jury ultimately refused to indict.
