While on the floor curled into a ball, the Defendants punched the side of Plaintiff's body. Plaintiff's neighbors screamed and asked the Defendant Officers why they were beating him. E.D., the Plaintiff's 12 year-old exited the Plaintiff's apartment upon hearing the screams, and when she tried to aid the Plaintiff, the Defendant Officers threw her up against the wall. One of the Defendant's sprayed mace in Plaintiff's face while he was still on the ground. Plaintiff was then arrested and subjected to excessively tight handcuffs. Plaintiff was not permitted to wash his face until forty-five minutes after being sprayed. On January 11, 2012, the charges against the Plaintiff were adjourned in contemplation of dismissal.
