During the course of this seizure, plaintiff was subjected to a search without probable cause or any legal justification, which yielded no contraband.  Nevertheless, he was falsely charged with criminal possession of controlled substances.    As a result of falsified records and statements by the defendant officers, the DA's Office was induced to initiate criminal proceedings against him.  After numerous court appearances, those proceedings were terminated with all charges dropped.\nDuring the arrest, some of the defendant officers failed to intervene and none spoke out against the false evidence being created to justify charging him. Defendant NYPD Sergeant Yuriy Akopov approached Plaintiff and ordered her to move from where she was standing on the sidewalk, but Plaintiff was unable to do so, as members of the NYPD had surrounded and kettled the counter-protestors. Defendant Akopov then pushed his hand into Plaintiff's chest, and when Plaintiff asked him not to do so, Defendant Akopov grabbed Plaintiff's right breast hard and squeezed forcefully. Plaintiff continued to ask Defendant Akopov to stop grabbing her breast, but he continued to grope her for several seconds before then pushing into her body and shoving past her, causing Plaintiff to fall backwards. Defendant NYPD Sergeant Soheil Sofizada and NYPD Member Jane Doe were next to Defendant AKopov for the duration of the incident but did not intervene. Akopov made insulting remarks about her appearance. The police officers transported her to the 68th Precinct where she was photographed, fingerprinted, and detained in a holding cell. After several hours, she was transported to from the 66th Prencinct to Kings County Central Booking and placed in a holding cell. The officers provided the DA's Office with false information that she had committed a crime, and on October 19, at approximately 6:00PM, Plaintiff was arraigned and charged with Promoting Prostitution in the Fourth Degree and other related charges. She was forced  to appear in court on 3 occasions, and all charges were favorably terminated on May 3, 2019. Due to the criminal case, she was unable to work in her job as an IT Healthcare Associate from October 18, 2018 until January 22, 2019 and lost approximately $15, 000 in wages.
