Plaintiff's sister Janece stopped by. Plaintiff and Janece argued over a family matter. Janece threatened plaintiff with a razor in the presence of several children. In response to a 911 call Janece made, officers from the 25th Precinct came to the apartment. When the officers arrived, Janece told them nothing serious happened. Janece conceded plaintiff had not assaulted her and denied suffering any injury. Officers arrested Janece and took her to the 25th Precinct, but concluded they lacked probable cause to arrest plaintiff. On February 20, 2013, Janece was arraigned in New York Criminal Court, on multiple charges. She was released on her own recognizance subject to a TRO. An ADA from the New York office had called plaintiff on February 19, 2013, and asked plaintiff to come to her office. On February 20, 2013, plaintiff met with Newman, Deputy Chief of the Domestic Violence Unit, and signed a sworn statement Janece threatened her with a razor the previous day. Plaintiff returned to her aunt's apartment at 1990 Lexington Avenue. Janece went to the 25th Precinct and told officers plaintiff assaulted and harassed her, causing physical injuries. Despite plaintiff informing officers of her meeting with the DA and Janece's previous statements, Plaintiff was arrested and taken to the 25th Precinct and held for 17 hours. On February 21, 2013, plaintiff was taken to NY Central Booking. An EMT noticed plaintiff had breathing difficulties and requested an ambulance. Plaintiff was taken to Bellevue Hospital Center, where she was given an asthma pump to alleviate her breathing difficulties. Plaintiff was brought back to NY Central Booking. On February 21, 2013, plaintiff was released without charges because the New York DA declined to prosecute.","documents":[{"url":"https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nysd.418687/gov.uscourts.nysd.418687.16.0.pdf","type":"complaint"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/13143028/booker-v-the-city-of-new-york/"}],"payroll":{"salary":"109352","regular":"108510","overtime":"36027","other":"26511","total":"171049"},"id":"SN6M","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/SN6M"}
