Plaintiff approached the scene and tried to defuse the situation, without any aggression. Without legal basis or justification, officers subsequently grabbed Plaintiff and pushed him against a metal security gate, then handcuffed him. Plaintiff, and his girlfriend’s daughter, were taken to the precinct. Plaintiff was held at the precinct and at Central Booking for several hours. He was falsely charged with Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the Second Degree. The criminal complaint against Plaintiff falsely alleged, based on a supporting deposition signed by PO Farley, that he had placed himself between PO Farley and Plaintiff's girlfriend’s daughter, preventing PO Farley from issuing a summons to her. Even if the allegation was true, which it was not, it would not constitute a crime.","documents":[{"url":"https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nyed.343540/gov.uscourts.nyed.343540.1.0.pdf","type":"complaint"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/13049680/mesa-v-the-city-of-new-york/"}],"payroll":{"salary":"119980","regular":"115753","overtime":"74707","other":"24753","total":"215213"},"id":"STBX","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/STBX"}
