The search yielded no evidence of guns, drugs or contraband.  Despite the absence of any evidence of wrongdoing, defendants applied excessively tight handcuffs to plaintiff and arrested him.  Plaintiff was taken to the 46th Precinct where he was held for several hours and was also taken to Rikers Island where he was held for several days pursuant tp false allegations by the defendant officers. Plaintiff remained in custody  for several more weeks.
