Lorello, Michael Spera, and NYPD officers Does falsely arrested Brandon Thomas who was lawfully at residence near Ave. L and 92nd st. of Brooklyn. The detectives unlawfully entered the residence, unlawfully arrested Thomas and unlawfully searched the residence despite having no reasonable suspicion to do so. On or about August 8, 2019, the above detectives assaulted Thomas at the precinct with excessive force causing physical injury. As a result, Thomas suffered multiple injuries, among which are fractured ribs, and had to be transported to a hospital. Despite such misconduct, detectives did not intervene to stop each other. The detectives then maliciously fabricated evidence to excuse their unreasonable force and knowingly accused Thomas of multiple crimes that he did not commit. The false evidence subsequently denied Thomas his right to fair trial. Thomas's case was subsequently dismissed in Thomas's favor. \nOn or about August 15, 2019, Thomas was in custody at Otis Bantum Correction Center in Queens when correction officers Cisnero, R. Tart and Department of Correction Does deliberately did not help Thomas despite knowing that Thomas was being assaulted by other inmates. Thomas notified the correction officers of the danger and his fear. The correction officers knew or should've known of the danger, but did not do anything to secure Thomas's safety. As a result, Thomas taken to the clinic where he was denied medical care he requested. He was approached by Defendant NYPD officer Shervis, who then directed defendant officer Wilson to arrest the plaintiff without probable cause. The plaintiff was transported to the 69th Precinct and taken to the cell area. In the cell area the defendants were aggressively removing articles of clothing from the plaintiff and thrusting him into chairs. Knowing that the plaintiff had a previous laceration on his leg, the defendants nonetheless threw the plaintiff onto the ground and began punching and kicking him. Several other officers entered the cell area and joined in the assault of the plaintiff as well. One of the officers tried to hush the plaintiff from pleading help by covering his mouth with their hand. The assault was caught on camera and revealed at trial.
