Without warning or provocation defendant officer Steven Minister and others aggressively approached plaintiff, violently threw him to the ground, assaulted him and sprayed him with pepper spray. Defendatns present had the opportunity and failed to intervene. Defendants falsely arrested plaintiff without probable cause and took him to the precint. Plaintiff was held overnight and booked and arraigned based on false allegations by the defendants before eventually being released. Plaintiff sustained physical injuries as a result of the incident and had to appear at court multiple times until the false charges were dismissed.
