While in possession of Plaintiff's license an registration, one of the officers told Plaintiff that he was stopped because items were blocking the front windshield. The objects referred to were hanging from the rear-view mirror. An officer also indicated that he observed a knife in the hand-rest compartment, to which Plaintiff said it was used at work to peel fruit. Plaintiff was instructed to exit the vehicle and place his hands on the trunk of the vehicle. Officers kicked his feet apart and searched him. Without provocation, one of the officers grabbed Plaintiff's hands, twisted them behind his back to handcuff him, and slammed Plaintiff's body into the trunk of the car with such force that it caused Plaintiff's rib to be fractured, disc herniation, and lower back pain. When Plaintiff's wife told the officers that her husband had never been in trouble with the law, one of the officers stated that he \"couldn't see a black man without a clean record.\" At the precinct, Plaintiff was in pain and asked an officer to loosen his handcuffs. The officer responded by tightening the handcuffs. He was denied medical treatment for pain resulted from the assault. Eventually, charges against him were dismissed and sealed. After Plaintiff's release, he was admitted to the emergency room and diagnosed with and treated for a rib fracture, neck sprain, and severe back pain.","documents":[{"url":"https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nyed.357869/gov.uscourts.nyed.357869.12.0.pdf","type":"complaint"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/13139388/graham-v-city-of-new-york/"}],"image":"https://www.50-a.org/images/officer/TBUD-fayaz-khan.jpg","payroll":{"salary":"141684","regular":"121021","overtime":"22691","other":"20800","total":"164511"},"id":"TBUD","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/TBUD"}
