Plaintiff and the 3 or 4 other detained men were ordered to remain at the location while a civilian who had been robbed was questioned about the participation of the 5 men in the robbery. After the civilian did not identify Plaintiff as one of the perpetrators, one officer told Plaintiff he could leave, but another said \"No; take them all.\" An officer kicked Plaintiff in his left knee causing him pain. Plaintiff was taken to the 07th Precinct, then to Central Booking, and arraigned at the Criminal Court of the City of New York. Officer Guglielmi provided false information to the prosecution which included that he was told by the civilian complainant that Plaintiff was among the group that surrounded him and that Plaintiff told the civilian \"in substance: It is not going to be good for you.
