Plaintiff decided to leave but was grabbed, handcuffed, and searched without warning or legal justification by POs Victor A. Hiciano and John Does. POs affixed handcuffs too tightly and shoved Plaintiff, resulting in bruising to Plaintiff's upper arms and wrists. Plaintiff was taken to a police station and remained there for approximately 10 hours. While there, Plaintiff spoke with PO Hiciano, who told Plaintiff he did not observe Plaintiff during the protest and that she would be given three summonses for disorderly conduct, including one for taking pictures. Plaintiff objected and PO Hiciano stated \"That's what legal said to give you\" and that the charges were either disorderly conduct \"or resisting arrest, you pick.\" Plaintiff was released with a desk appearance ticket but the District Attorney declined to prosecute.
