Nevertheless, the plaintiff was arrested and transported to the 52nd Precinct where he was strip searched and placed into a cell with other male prisoners. The search recovered no illegal or unlawful items. The plaintiff was  transported to the Bronx County Central Booking after several hours. On May 5, 2022, the plaintiff was released without being charged by the Office of the Bronx County District Attorney.
