Officer Christopher Ballaera (\"Defendant\") pushed Jeffrey down the escalator without provocation, resulting in severe injuries. Once pushed, the officers grabbed the plaintiff and slammed him back onto the ground prior to being unlawfully arrested and handcuffed by the defendant without legal justification or probable cause\n\nThe plaintiff was transported, against his will, to the Transit 33 Precinct, where officers fabricated charges despite the lack of any reasonable suspicion or legal justification for their actions. The officers falsely alleged that plaintiff assaulted the officers and resisted arrest, necessitating the use of force by the defendant officers in order to effectuate plaintiff’s arrest.\n\nThe plaintiff was held in custody for approximately 12 hours before being arraigned. After nearly 19 months of malicious prosecution, a jury acquitted the plaintiff of all charges. However, the plaintiff suffered emotional distress and humiliation.","documents":[{"url":"https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/ViewDocument?docIndex=nP2efrbVg_PLUS_nxZ2/ksQDriA==","type":"complaint"}]}],"id":"TX9B","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/TX9B"}
