Defendants entered the bathroom, physically removed plaintiff from the shower, and threw him unclothed on the ground. After plaintiff was allowed to put on clothes, defendants handcuffed plaintiff. Plaintiff was arrested by defendants and transported to the 25th precinct. At the Precinct, plaintiff was placed in a holding cell. Defendants stripped searched plaintiff. After about 3 hours, plaintiff was transported to Manhattan Central Booking. After 14 hours, a corrections officer informed plaintiff the DA declined to prosecute his case and he was free to leave. At the time plaintiff was arrested, he was employed by the NYC Department of Education and a private security company. Upon learning of plaintiffs arrest, the NYC DoE suspended plaintiff's employment without pay, resulting in $1200 damages in lost salary.
