Plaintiff was targeted for these actions based in part on racial prejudice. Plaintiff's requests for the handcuffs to be loosed were ignored. Plaintiff was then taken to the 47th Precinct where he was criminally processed, including an invasive strip search, before being taken to Central Booking then Rikers Island. Plaintiff was wrongfully held for approximately eight days. POs forwarded intentionally false information to initiate a malicious prosecution against Plaintiff and all charges were ultimately dismissed on or about October 16, 2023.
