All plaintiffs either resided at or were visiting the subject premises.  After midnight on January 1, 2017, P.O.s Omar Birchwood, Lt. Michael Raimo, and P.O. Jesse Lance knocked on the door under the false guise that they had heard gunshots.  The officers insisted that they enter the premises, but plaintiffs demanded a warrant to allow entry.  This encounter lasted for more than hour, and the officers didn't allow plaintiffs to close their front door.  As some of the plaintiffs were peacefully exiting, one plaintiff was dragged outside of the subject premises, pushed against the side of the building, and had his phone snatched from his hand by the officers when he attempted to record the assault.  The officers stopped, frisked, searched, and fondled him and kept using the \"N\" word.  The officers similarly frisked and searched another plaintiff that tried to leave and kept using the \"N\" word.   \n\nThe officers forced their way into the premises and directed everyone to sit down and threatened that they were in trouble because they were giving the police a \"hard time.\"  The officers also threatened to call ACS on some of the plaintiffs inside the premises because there were minor children present.  The officers frisked and searched each plaintiff individually and engaged in retaliation by reporting them to ACS for suspected domestic violence and child abuse.","documents":[{"url":"https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.nyed.443101/gov.uscourts.nyed.443101.40.0.pdf","type":"complaint"}],"url":"https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/16625563/nixon-v-the-city-of-new-york/"}],"discipline":[{"disposition_date":"2023-09-14","case_no":"2022-27700","penalty":"B - Command Discipline, training, vacation days (1 day)","recommendation":"Command Discipline - B","allegations":[{"desc":"Violated patrol rules."},{"desc":"Wrongfully searched a vehicle."}]}],"payroll":{"salary":"118056","regular":"117719","overtime":"59837","other":"20677","total":"198233"},"email":"ryan.jaffe@nypd.org","id":"UK4M","url":"https://www.50-a.org/officer/UK4M"}
