All charges were ultimately dismissed by prosecutors for lack of evidence.\n\nOn November 25, 2018, NYPD Officers Taraska, Paredes, and Liguori approached Plaintiff while he was socializing with friends on the sidewalk in Kings County, New York. The officers demanded Plaintiff’s ID and began verbally abusing Plaintiff. The officers forcibly grabbed the Plaintiff and tightly handcuffed him, causing injuries to his neck, shoulders, hands, and wrists. The officers searched Plaintiff but did not recover any contraband.
