Plaintiff tried to return the package but the man refused to take it back.  Plaintiff saw his regular mailman in his building and had the package in his physical possession for less than one minute before he handed it to his regular mailman.  A few seconds later, plaintiff saw people with guns come straight toward him and started choking him.  Plaintiff was unarmed and placed under arrest by P.O.s Rolando Carbonell, Asim Sheikh, Jugony Rosado, Lt. Edward Garcia without probable cause and without a warrant.  The handcuffs were so tight that plaintiff's left hand began to swell and darken, but the officers refused to loosen them.  Plaintiff was taken to the precinct where he was fingerprinted and photographed and then to Central booking where he was invasively strip searched.  It was later found that the package handed to plaintiff contained drugs, but plaintiff was unaware of its contents and had never even opened it.
