Defendant Police Officers Bryan Marksteiner and Keith Slogick responded to the scene, but did not investigate or arrest Singh. \n\nLater, Singh filed a complaint against Plaintiff, so, on February 1, 2012, Plaintiff presented himself to the 106 Police Precinct and was arrested, placed in handcuffs, fingerprinted, and put in a holding cell. Defendant Detective John Martin interrogated Plaintiff, then falsely and maliciously accused him of assaulting Singh. Plaintiff was released after 4 hours in handcuffs. \n\nSingh filed further false information about the event, so Plaintiff was forced to appear in Criminal Court multiple times between February 10, 2012 and May 29, 2013, when he was ultimately acquitted of all charges.
