Plaintiff was placed in a police vehicle and taken to the 77th Precinct, and eventually to Brooklyn Central Booking. The officers falsely communicated to the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office that Plaintiff had committed a crime. After approximately 28 hours in custody, Plaintiff was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
